Easy Student Loans

It seems like people these days are always offering shortcuts—easy ways to the pot of gold—and apparently easy student loans are no exception.

When one digs deeper, however, he or she often discovers that there are no real easy ways to get anything that's worthwhile. Student loans are no different. While some student loans, particularly federal Stafford and Perkins loan programs, are guaranteed to most students, anyone who offers shortcuts or easy private student loans is likely a predatory lender to be avoided.

Many of these lenders can be identified by their offering of bad credit student loans, or easy student loans student loans without a cosigner

All of the companies that offer these supposed golden tickets will be providers of private student loans, and many will charge variable and high interest rates. These loan companies certainly will not provide easy student loan consolidation to go with their easy student loans when the time comes for repayment.

Easy financial aid exists, but not in the sense that most people think. When it comes to financial aid for higher education, few things are fast or easy, at least not in the sense that you can fill out a few lines of text on a website and get handed free and easy student grants or fast student loans.

This is not to say that there is not financial aid available to anyone interested in attending college, or that it has to be a painful process. Indeed, there are processes that result in relatively easy student loans.

The aforementioned Perkins and Stafford loan programs, offered through the federal government, are guaranteed college loans for most students, and sometimes offer consolidation programs that other private loan programs do not. All that is required to obtain these loans is the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, which can be found online or can be obtained through your institution’s office of admissions and financial aid.

Visiting a school’s financial aid office is a good idea anyway, since there are people there who can guide you through the somewhat confusing maze of obtaining financial aid.

That being said, while the Perkins and Stafford programs result in fairly easy student loans, they are not fast. There are no magic bullets for obtaining fast student loans or grants. The process can take a month or more after you complete the paperwork, so you should always pay close attention to the necessary deadlines, to make sure that your loans come in on time to help you pay your costs.

Money is tight all around these days, and despite what many predatory lenders would have you believe, there are no magic tricks for gaining fast and easy student loans, especially if you have bad credit and no cosigner. However, with patience and perseverance, you can navigate the waters of financial aid and discover that obtaining aid is not difficult, but indeed there are programs out there that do provide relatively easy student loans, if not fast ones.
